Many people don’t like going to the doctor, but just a simple visit, getting an exam and some simple blood work, can help someone prevent problems as they age.
For example, diabetes can be a silent disease process for a long time. By the time it manifests itself, the damage to your body is already done, sometimes irreversible. If you catch it early, you can reverse it.
High blood pressure: many times people don’t know they have high blood pressure. They feel fine, but all of a sudden they have a stroke. The other thing is kidney disease. Many times people feel fine, but their kidneys are showing problems.
Go see your doctor at least once a year and have some simple tests done. It could save your life.
